Since the debut of 'Pokémon: The First Movie,' the series has expanded considerably, with 24 films already released and another on its way. This new Blu-ray collection, found exclusively on Amazon US, provides a convenient way for fans to catch up on the saga. The premium price tag reflects the value of owning a complete physical collection, ensuring access to these beloved movies regardless of changes in streaming availability. The collection's launch date is set for late 2026, and it arrives packaged within a thematic Pokéball. While the presentation is appealing, the discs are housed in a cardboard booklet. In an era where digital content can be ephemeral, a physical collection of this magnitude offers a sense of permanence and ownership. The 0 price point, though considerable, averages out to less than per film, which can be seen as a reasonable cost for such an extensive catalog of high-definition content.
