Nightstar Sand, a vital mid-to-late-game component in Palworld, is essential for fabricating sophisticated items such as metal detectors and beam swords. Although not required in large quantities, its acquisition can be somewhat challenging. This resource cannot be obtained through animal husbandry; however, there are specific farming locations and certain late-game creatures that yield it.
The most straightforward method to obtain Nightstar Sand is to search along the northern coastline of Feybreak Island during nighttime, specifically around the Scorched Ashland teleportation point. The sand emits a visible glow on the ground, making it easy to locate and collect. Additionally, the northwestern shore of Feybreak Island, near the Curved Redrock teleport point, also serves as a viable collection area. For players struggling with the brief in-game night cycle, adjusting the day-night duration in world settings can significantly increase farming time.
Furthermore, two specific Pals, Starryon Primo and Wistella, are known to drop Nightstar Sand. However, these creatures are predominantly found in abundance only in the advanced World Tree region, suggesting that ground-based collection in the aforementioned areas might be a more efficient strategy for most players.
Mastering the acquisition of Nightstar Sand empowers players to unlock a new tier of crafting possibilities, enhancing their gameplay experience. This pursuit exemplifies the rewarding nature of exploration and strategic resource management within the game world, encouraging players to delve deeper and overcome challenges for greater rewards.
